A Call for a Congressional investigation

It’s time for Congress to hold public hearings and investigate BLM’s management of the wild horses and burros particularly in light of BLM’s proposed new plan for these animals. Until this happens and Congress reaches decisions about what agency and how these animals should be managed, there should be a moratorium on all roundups. The wild horses and burros are disappearing and BLM’s plan seems largely focused on continued roundups, penning these wild animals and managing them to extinction. CJ (Potlucky) Gone too soon...

It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that our friend CJ has lost her battle with cancer. She is now pain free and at peace with her beloved pets as they make the journey across the Bridge together………..

God saw you were getting tired,
And a cure was not to be,
So he put his arms around you
And whispered, “Come to me.”

With tearful eyes we watched you,
And saw you pass away.
Although we loved you dearly,
We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us,
He only takes the best.

With love and admiration for a life well lived, a life filled with kindness and caring, we wish God Speed to our dear friend, CJ.
